The Society's image library contains a large collection of photos depicting the people, places and events which have given the Kurrajong district its unique character.

The collection was started in 2003 through the efforts of the Society's treasurer Joy Shepherd, who applied for and obtained sponsorship as a "Work for the Dole" project in conjunction with Hawkesbury Skillshare. At the conclusion of this project in 2005 the Society had built an archive of around 2,000 scanned photos with accompanying captions and source notes.

Joy has continued with her efforts in building and managing the image library, which now comprises nearly 5,000 photos, and continues to grow.
